Over the last couple of weeks our goods that we fund-raised for reached Vanuatu!
We were lucky enough to have the student who took our goods over and his mum present in the senior assembly this week. We got an invite to come along and listen. It was soo great to see where our supplies ended up and all the boxes there at a school that had nothing.
More photos to come but for now...
Welcome to Room 14's blog! We are a class of 24 year 3 children here at Havelock North Primary School. Take a look at what we are learning and leave a comment if you like.

JR4H
Friday 19th June was Jump Rope 4 Heart!
We spent 30 minutes on the turf with room 7, skipping to loud music and raising money for the Heart Foundation.
We loved it!! We are hoping to be the class that raises the most money and get a mufti day on the last week of term.

The children had a chance to explore the materials, read the scales and even solve some rich problems.
One question we had was:
"Isao was sick. He had to have 5ml of his medicine 3 times a day. How many days would Isao be able to take his medicine for if the bottle was 100ml?"
Discuss this as a family and see if your child can help explain how they got their answer. Leave your answers in the comments below. (Keep in mind- not all children had this as their groups question so it may be the first time your child sees the question) Happy exploring.
