Are books still important?

Today we looked at the question: Are books still important?

We watched a short film about a boat library in the Mekong river and came up with some wondering about books and the boat library.

This is our new inquiry topic for this term and we kick it off with our trip on Tuesday to the MTG.

Here are some of our questions.

Maths, maths, maths!

Room 8 and 9 are continuing to work together in maths this term.

Last term we asked every class in the school if they wanted scarfs, beanies or headbands to wear as part of their uniform during winter. We gathered our results. Now we need to add all the results and see if the children at school actually want any of these items!

Here is our working..

Dress up day!

As Mr Bremmer wanted we had a final dress up day in his honor!

Here are some of our outfits.. Can you guess what we are?

Drive in movie

As room 8 and 9 started doing lots of collaborative work we thought a good way to get to know each other we could make cars and go to the drive in movies!

Look at our work and the final products... We had a blast!
